With Comfort, There Is No Growth

This was the day I discovered I was broke. 💰😩 (Not really, but keep reading)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here I was living my best life in Cabo, mixing & mingling with a few of my entrepreneur colleagues, toasting & laughing about business success. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All the fun for me ended when my coach asked me, "Why hasn't your business made a million dollars annually yet?". Stunned, I had no words. I had no words because well first who the hell ask someone that in a room full of people and two... I had no real answer as to why. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Later that day, I went back to my room, sat, cried, and ordered room service. I emotionally indulged in room service on my balcony overlooking the ocean that had no end.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What came to me at that moment was the answer to her question. The answer was simple, me. The reason my business had not made a million dollars annually was because of me. I had got comfortable with making multiple six-figures that a milli wasn't even on my mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With comfort, there is no growth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I REPEAT... with comfort there is no growth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Thinking of the next level for me meant getting uncomfortable. And subconsciously I had been limiting myself due to fear of discomfort. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So here I was thinking a girl was balling, and honestly, I haven't even scratched my financial potential. Before this moment, I honestly hadn't even thought a million was possible for me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Her challenging question caused me to go inside and see what blockages were hindering growth in my mindset. It wasn't all business strategy and marketing...it had A LOT to do with my personal energy and relationship towards money.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
