Back to my Roots

Being invited to be the Keynote Speaker at my high school Alumni Day was a gift.

It was a gift to step back in that building after many many years and see the faces of our further looking back at me from the same seat I once sat.

It was a gift to hold space for current students around mental health issues, resources, and early signs.

It was a gift to give back in a way I had never thought was needed until the invitation was extended.

Being back in that building and back in my community sparked something DEEP inside of me.

I have a strong feeling 2023 is calling me back to where it all started. Back to where I started. Back to our youth and young adults.

I’ll be sharing some candid conversations I was able to have with the students here soon, but for now I’m allowing this new vision to settle in.

Remember, it’s always bigger than YOU.
