Formulate Healthy Habits
Can someone PLEASE wake me when retrograde is over because ya girl is OVER IT! 😫⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have truly been trying my best to get back into my workouts, meal plan, and find a schedule that fits my new life after my move. Just when I think I am on it, life shows up with a challenge. Now, yall know I am the Queen of positivity, but what I won't do to myself is exhibit TOXIC POSITIVITY. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was beginning to feel like I was dropping the ball on my health. Eating out more than usual, skimming on my water intake, not intermitting fasting, & most days missing my workouts because...LIFE WAS HAPPENING. 😤⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you know those things that pop up that are out of your control? Well, a lot of those instances have been happening & all that I had pre-planned for the week got tossed to the side temporarily. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So before I got too down on myself I had to look back at where I started to remind myself of how strong my will really is. If I can motivate, encourage, and push myself to this point, I can make it through ANYTHING. 👏🏽⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I may not have my routine down to perfection yet, but each week I am getting better. Instead of trying to go ALL in right after a stressful move, I am breaking my goals up into smaller manageable pieces, just like I did before when I was just getting my health journey started. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My goal this week is to get back to drinking a gallon of water a day because Florida is hot as hell and hydration is a non-negotiable. Next week I will focus more on my meals since my kitchen remodeling will be complete. The following week I will get back into my daily workouts since I will have a gym membership with hours that work around my daughter's summer camp schedule. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
An all-or-nothing mindset is a no-go! I encourage you to not overwhelm yourself with perfection. Take one day, one step at a time to formulate healthy habits. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
