Sacral Chakra

Lower back pain = SACRAL CHAKRA misalignment. 🧡

Over the past month, I have had consistent stiff pain in my lower back. I tried purchasing a mattress pad, getting a massage, and a heating pad. NOTHING worked!

So I sat in meditation, sat with the pain, sat with the discomfort...and intuitively my Reiki attuned hands went directly to my lower back and I began to see the color orange.

All week, I have been flowing intentionally in my yoga practice with asanas that target the sacral chakra to include some low-impact inversions and twists.

In addition to yoga, I have incorporated sacral chakra-focused journaling into my morning routine. This has helped me identify mental and emotional distress in my mind that has been showing in my body.

When our sacral chakra is blocked, it is often due to increased fear and lack of pleasure. So, I have been more intentional about engaging in things that bring me joy and processing my fears in therapy. (Yes, I am a therapist and I go to therapy. 😉)

We often ignore the connection between our physical health and our mental health, but it is all connected. When we are mentally not well, the body will soon notify us...but we have to be willing to listen.
